Sky's The Limit | Don't Be Afraid - RSD2022

Tracklist:
Some records are easier to license then to try and find a copy of. Sky's The Limit's incredible "Don't Be Afraid" is a case in point.
Released on the tiny J.M.J. label in 1976, this was essentially a private pressing by the group and was more likely to have been given away at gigs rather than sold through record shops. It's incredibly rare . "Don't Be Afraid" is a prime slice of vintage Jazz-Funk. The vocal side shows off Sky's The Limit's vocal prowess with gorgeous harmonies over an insistent groove.
However, the big attraction on this double-sider, is the incredibly hypnotic instrumental workout with a fantastic Patrick Adam's like free-form synth making the instrumental almost another song. One of the dreamiest Jazz-Funk instrumentals you'll ever hear.
Unfortunately, the raw source/ mastering is not great on this side a real shame but still the only chance to have it.
