Back in... Side A hits hard with a rework of Upp's 1975 British funk-rock bomb, originally produced by Jeff Beck and immortalised in countless hip-hop samples. Thelonious strips it to the muscle and, in doing so, spotlights Jimmy Copley's legendary break while tightening the groove for modern floors. Flip it, and the vibe turns cinematic with the S.S.O. Orchestra's 'Faded Lady', which glows with lush strings, velvet bass and deep soul texture.
