Kuzco drops her maxi EP “What Could Happen” a modern Street Soul gem, an uplifting late-night and summer jam! “Be Loved” ups the tempo but keeps in a mid-tempo groove, sweet vocals over an underground but musical backing; Detroit’s Ladymonix lays down a tough house remix, taking the jazz stabs and rolling it out.
The B-side features sultry and energetic jaunts into ghetto tech and electro… If it wasn't already evident, Kuzco is clearly making a stand and representing the FLINTA and queer club spaces that she embodies. Black Moonchild adds a hypnotic remix reminiscent of UFO activity over the Motor City, with bleeping electronic signals passing through jittery hi-hat and drum passages.
