DjRUM is unique, and a DJ/producer we deeply respect for his distinctive take on music.

His all-vinyl, three-deck DJ sets can be extreme and hardcore, unafraid to make stylistic and sonic handbrake turns. “I like things to be a bit bumpy,” as he puts it; “to have ups and downs and f*ck with expectations!”.

His productions, on the other hand, are always top-end, lovingly and meticulously structured while maintaining depth and feeling.

This mix is the moment where he brings all these elements together, composing four new pieces that move between different sonic registers. Alongside like-minded experimentalists Skee Mask and Clark, with the exclusives “Flip” and “Clonk Dual”, he uses these tracks as coordinates to map out the mix.

He’s mixed vinyl live, then chopped up those mixes, collaged and overdubbed them, with ambient and breakcore, classical and punk, deep acid and chaotic percussion flowing through the mix — bringing together things that should never work with uncanny perfection.
