Borrowed Identity and his boyhood friend Mechanical Soul Brother have been doing hot sessions in their studio and the output shows... All tunes have a classic yet modern house flair. The A-side is full of groovy rhythms, deeeeeep basslines, splendid vocals and subtle acid lines - "just be yourself“ might even slightly recall Larry Heard/Mr. White’s The sun can’t compare“ The club-friendly b-side offers two versions of „point of no return“. The 2 am version has those old schoolish drums and some blissful sounds and voices, just the way we love it, whereas the 6 am version is the more straightforward, catchy early morning groover.
