SWAG was never simply a record label or record shop. Founded in South London in 1993, it became a meeting point for a generation of DJs, producers and record collectors, evolving into a creative hub that connected studios, parties, labels and lifelong friendships.

Adam Collins. A key figure in the evolution of tech-house through the late 1990s and early 2000s, Collins helped define a distinctly deep and exploratory approach to club music. Through his solo work, collaborations and the influential Omni A.M. collective, his productions consistently balanced dancefloor functionality with a restless creative spirit, leaving a lasting mark on generations of producers that followed.

Across three new productions — Collins revisits the qualities that made both his work and the label so enduring: groove, personality and a willingness to look beyond convention. As both a reflection on SWAG's legacy and a statement of intent for its future, the EP reconnects the label's history with the spirit of curiosity and innovation that has defined it from the beginning.

For Liz Edwards, the soul of SWAG.
