New York music veteran Eric Duncan AKA Dr Dunks has built a reputation for his genre-defying music and sets, mixing disco, house, funk and electro. His production and remix catalogue over the years includes Grace Jones, Todd Terje, LCD Soundsystem, Groove Armada, and more. Producer and DJ ‘Zopelar’ hails from Brazil, taking inspiration from the Brazilian music scene and lacing it with jazz, soul, and house, with releases on Apron Records, Tartelet Records, Soul Clap Records, and Selva Discos

They give us three funk-fuelled tracks. Syncopted electro synths flood opening track ‘Plateau Alone’ with an 80s-inspired groove, where bass melodies and textures create an otherworldly feel. Second track ‘Slow One Eleven’ slows the pace; percussion and strings featuring rock accents create a steady groove as Duncan adds his signature sonic sound. Low-down bass blends with dub-chords and alien textures in ‘88 Lights’, creating a warm and cosy closing to the EP.
