Jamaican sax player Cedric 'Im' Brooks came through the legendary Alpha Boys School and went on to play with some of the key names in Jamaican music, including the Skatalites and Count Ossie's Mystic Revalaton Of Rastafari band. A proper jazz head who brought that language into reggae, dub and roots. 

This 10" pulls from his cult 1978 LP "United Africa", with dubism giving "Love & Praises" a fresh lick on the A side - swinging sax, chunky guitar and a deep rolling riddim. Flip for "Dub Force", stripped back and rebuilt into a heavy, psychedelic dub excursion. Plenty of dub echos, spring reverbs and studio weirdness. Proper roots material.
