On-U Sound present a crucial reissue campaign of keyalbums by Creation Rebel, the original On-U Soundhouse band. Vinyl reissue of five much sought afteralbums, this one returns after its RSD and 2018 pressing.
Originally the sole release on pre-On-U Sound label 4DRhythms, a young Adrian Sherwood remixed and rerecorded a tape of older reggae rhythms, overdubbing aton of new percussion and FX, flipping the tape over, andgenerally abusing the reel-to-reel in any way possible. Theresult is something utterly deranged and unique in thealready pretty out-there annals of dub. It was alsorumoured to be the planned soundtrack of a Don Lettsdirected film about ‘alien dreads from beyond the stars’.
