Speedy J links up with Rødhåd, taking us to dark, deep places that sound absolutely heavenly…

Developed during extended studio sessions in Berlin in January 2026, the record brings together two artists whose respective platforms, STOOR and WSNWG, have long embraced artistic exchange and open creative practice.

Moving between intricate dancefloor material and more reflective, exploratory compositions, the album develops a shared sonic language that extends beyond the two artists’ unmistakable and long-established identities.

Across eleven compositions, purposeful dancefloor cuts are elegantly interwoven with calm, spacious soundscapes. A propulsive current gives way to moments of suspension and introspection. As rhythm and atmosphere gradually fold into one another, the record favours gradual transformation over dramatic gestures.

The album’s quieter moments open up a more contemplative space, broadening its emotional range without losing its forward momentum. Beneath it all, a subtle, understated sense of distance evokes vast, glacial landscapes and remote environments bathed in cold light.
