Part II begins with Eduardo de la Calle, whose uncompromising approach to techno and electronic music has made him a natural part of Assemble's more recent history. Tom Dicicco & Roger 23 move into deeper ambient techno territory, bringing together two producers whose work has always pushed beyond the conventional boundaries of house and techno. Radboud Mens is a Dutch sound artist and composer whose work has long explored the space between experimental electronics, minimalism and techno; his approach is built around repetition, texture and the physical qualities of sound… Chicago’s Hakim Murphy represents another long-standing Assemble connection… individuality before formula.
