Cheeky US replica 12” but with this amazing Loftish jazz funk LP cut on a 12”.
Hubert Barclay Eaves III aka D Train with James Williams and had previously played with Gary Bartz. In 1977 he made a Jazz-Funk / Fusion LP called Esoteric Funk which originally came out in Japan then the US - One of those LP’s missed by many and only recently getting some deep diggers attention. “Slow Down” on there is a beautiful slice of bliss up there with Lonnie Liston Smith - its been lifted here for this 12” backed with classic reprise mix of You Are The One For Me - lets hope for an official LP reissue!
