Energy Exchange Ensemble follows up on the acclaimed Vol. 1, continuing the legacy of label-curated studio sessions led by in-house production duo Lewis Moody and Ziggy Zeitgeist.

Offering a unique take on the traditional Various Artists compilation, the production team has enlisted an A-list of players for informal jam sessions, gracefully guiding each session towards their own distinctive blend of dancefloor and spiritual jazz.

In the spirit of cultural exchange and spontaneity, the sessions were recorded over the course of several years between Berlin, London, and Melbourne. The project naturally boasts a long list of collaborators, including Erica Tucceri (Deep Matter), King Owusu (Jembaa Groove), Oscar Jerome, Hurcules (Kokoroko), and Nathan Haines (ChilliFunk Records), to name just a few.

This unique and creative setting allows the duo to explore a more intimate and exploratory approach to studio recording, further cementing their reputation as a dynamic and innovative force in contemporary jazz crossover.
