Tasty reissue from PCH, originally released in 2003 on the Pacific Traxx imprint by Chris Penny, aka CPen.

“HypnoFreak” is a jackin’ dancefloor number with live bass and drums, topped with a processed, haunting and sexy vocal throughout. An upbeat track full of energy, it builds and builds, teasing the dancefloor with rolling percussion before finally breaking into a heaving bassline explosion. Party cut.

“All Night Long” sees Chris going heavy on the vocoder, tastefully layered over a hypnotic keyboard riff: “All the heads in the place… all night long!” Similar to “HypnoFreak”, this one builds and builds before breaking into a funky, pulsing synth bassline, complemented by bleeps, stabs and cheeky bongo riffs darting in and out.

Once he’s got you grooving, he switches up the bassline and brings in vocoder whispers of “House music all night long… it’s music.”
