On December 20th 2025, the Vinyl Underground staff got invited by Atom Funk (shout out Niall & Tom) to throwdown in the basement of one of the best local spots, The Garibaldi Hotel...and a throwdown it was. 

With the wonderful Mixxlab collective holding court upstairs and the VU vs Atom Funk crews deep in the bowels of the building, the scene was set for a classic session... a dialled in soundsystem, long time VU friends Jazzi Vibes, DJ Yelksuee and Atom Funk setting the pace, a proper crowd of local heads, friends and up for it strangers, 1 in / 1 out, and the place going off to raw selections (full tracklist below).

For Joe it was the last time behind the decks as at VU, so he went deep into the crates and then blew the roof off with a classic at the end of the night! Check out the snippet at the end of the tracklist.

As usual for us analogue heads, the digital recording didn't quite go according to plan, but we did manage to salvage Aidy's first stint on the decks for your enjoyment, now up on our Soundcloud:
