So good to have Ben 'For Those That Knoe' Boe on the set for this installment of VU Selects. A selector of quality and style whose Boe Recordings label has been a staple of the VU racks for many years, bringing so many great releases to the spotlight from the likes of Carl Finlow, Derek Carr, KiNK, Jaime Read (and more more more), plus one of the best electronica records of the last years hands down, Vid Vai's 'Laminar Flow'.

Ben Boe, "I’ve been a long time customer of Vinyl Underground and I've been lucky enough to share the decks with the Aidy and the guys at events like Field Maneuvres, where the promo pic for this mix was taken. So big thanks for letting me contribute to this series!

I recorded this mix with the VU sound in mind as well as having the intention of focusing on the kind of music that shaped my early interests and is still influencing me more than ever after 30 years buying records and DJing. I have doubled down on the core sound that I love and represented it here: a deep groovy journey through house equally relevant for the floor as it is for the headphones or afters, just the kind of sonic space where I like to operate.
