This began with Hodge playing for IT in Detroit, first at Return to the Source, and then at a spring party at Tangent, where he was so inspired by what he saw that he began composing music for these environments. It quickly expanded to a number of songs, each to be carefully mixed from their stems by BMG in the Interdimensional Laboratory on hardware to give the record the largest and most solid sonic footprint it could have, using the same process as the recent Andy Toth record and Alchemical Sisters album. Each song is unique, yet each is so strong it could be its own single. Science fiction themes are highlighted with \"Magenta Glow\" referencing Philip K. Dick, and \"Oankali\" being named after entities from Lilith's Brood by Octavia E. Butler.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Interdimensional Transmissions","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":57484299633018,"sku":"IT056","price":15.5,"currency_code":"GBP","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0525\/7435\/5631\/files\/IT-56-label-A-web-2000.jpg?v=1793257681","url":"https:\/\/vinylunderground.co.uk\/products\/hodge-magenta-glow-ep","provider":"vinylunderground.co.uk","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
